Sound absorption is a crucial element of many projects, especially in auditoriums, classrooms and lecture theatres. MJ Hillson provides bespoke supply-and-fix packages for two state-of-the-art natural wood panelling systems manufactured and imported directly from Sweden (in association with our partners, LSA Projects).

Dalhem Panel and Gustafs Panel System not only look stunning, but also meet modern acoustic, environmental accountability and fire protection requirements. Both systems are simple to install, flexible and cost-effective, requiring little post-installation maintenance.

Dalhem Panel can be installed on internal walls and ceilings. The Ribba® ceiling system uses ribbed lengths, specifically designed assembly profiles and fastening clips so it wan work on flat and curved surfaces. On walls, the profiles ensure that installation points are hidden from view. The system’s natural wood veneer will mature with age. 

Gustafs Panel System was created following extensive research and combines acoustic, fire and aesthetic considerations to work in a wide range of buildings and environments, from concert halls and galleries to airports and hotels. Gustafs Panel System is highly energy efficient – its low-level thermal conductivity properties help to maintain a constant room temperature.
