The Brief

MJ Hillson was part of the team (working for contractor Galliford Try) refurbishing the former Triton Court, a project that took more than a year and saw our skilled carpenters fitting all the doors and skirting boards, toilet doors and lobby doors in the core areas, as well as work on the roof and in the large central atrium

The Approach

The refurbishment of such an iconic building as Triton Court was a complicated project, retaining the façade and stretching between eight and 12 storeys. The shape of the site meant that basements and nooks and crannies had to be accommodated. The logistics of deliveries in this busy area of the City of London were extremely tricky. Perhaps the most exciting part of the project was installing doors opening on to the roof below the well-known sculpture of a figure on a globe.
