The Brief

Working with Morgan Sindall on Trumpington, we were part of the team constructing a three storey school. The bulk of our involvement centred around installing fireproof acoustic white ribbed timber panelling.  This was made on site and covered virtually the whole interior of the building (including around staircases), on each level and around the large foyer area created by the internal atrium

The Approach

Perhaps the most challenging element of the 36-week project in Trumpington involved meeting the technical brief drawn up by the architect. Panels had to be made and installed to within a millimetre. There was a lot of other intricate work. We also installed glass screens with huge doors for the classrooms, doors, skirting and window boards in classrooms, riser doors and two reception areas, one in the hall and the other by the sports hall.
